San Diego & Arizona Centennial Celebration Day

Instead of our our usual Fall Meet at the San Diego Model Railroad Museum, the San Diego Division will attend the San Diego & Arizona Centennial Celebration Day on November 16 at the Pacific Southwest Railway Museum (PSRM) in Campo, CA.

The Pacific Southwest Railway Museum opens at 9am and closes at 5pm on Saturday, November 16th for this special event.  We will be displaying the Division's Boy Scout Modules and manning a membership table as well. We will be promoting the Division and the NMRA by offering discounted Rail Pass memberships during the event. Please stop by to say "Hi" and sign in so we know who from our membership is in attendance.

Thanks to a generous benefactor, NMRA Members were offered a Train Ride and Catered Lunch for a nominal fee. We had a tremendous response and all of those special tickets are sold out. But this does not mean you cannot take part. You can still buy your own train ticket and order a lunch before the day from PSRM. See the PSRM web page for reservations for the event through the museum, and the costs. Keep in mind, that if you chose not to buy a train ticket, there is a $10 admission fee. Click this link to see costs and purchase tickets from PSRM: https://www.psrm.org/centennial-day/

The day will include train rides, special exhibits on the history of the SD&A, vintage railroad equipment on display, entertainment, a catered lunch (must be purchased ahead of the day), hay-wagon rides, fun for the kids, and more. Bring the whole family. Click this link to see all of the event details:
