The North County Model Railroad Society will hold its Spring Swap Meet on April 13, 2019.  The event will be held at Oceanside’s Heritage Park

Celebrity-Sellers
Several well-known modelers will be on hand, showing prize winning models and selling a selected number of memorable and quality items. This is a unique opportunity you won’t want to miss. The celebrity modelers will also be showing some unique personal items not for sale. Celebrity-Sellers include international award winning model builder Jerry Jackson, premier Santa Fe N scale modeler Mike Komo, A-Line ProtoPower West owner Joe D’Elia, and Duncan McRee, SP modeler extraordinaire and the genius behind Tam Valley Depot. 

Swap Meet
The swap meet will be conducted from 8 to 11 AM. On sale will be model railroad items of all scales, accessories, railroadiana, and railroad related publications.  

Clinics
Free modeling clinics will be presented from 10 AM to 1 PM.

Train Show
Construction is underway to expand the HO scale layout by 50 percent, meanwhile the existing model railroad, with over 600-feet of mainline track, will be in operation from 10 AM to 3 PM.
Set in the 1950s, the NCMRS HO railroad depicts the Santa Fe from San Diego to Colton during the transition era. At Oceanside the main line turns inland (as the prototype did prior to 1900) and travels through Fallbrook, Temecula Canyon, and Perris before reaching Colton. All operations are controlled by smart-phones. Installation of a state-of-the-art signal system is nearing completion.

Raffle: A wide range of exciting door prizes will be raffled off throughout the meet.

Refreshments - Hot dogs, soda, coffee, and ice drinks will be available for purchase, or you can bring your own refreshments and lunch. Picnic tables are available in peaceful Heritage Park.

All events are free.
Parking is abundant and free.

Location
Heritage Park is located at 230 Peyri Drive, Oceanside, CA 92058. From I-5 or I-15 take Highway 76 to Douglas, than north to the second signal to El Camino Real. Go east (right) on El Camino Real to the curve where it becomes Peyri Drive. Watch for the Special Event parking sign at the wood gate on your right. Vendor Information
Sellers Fee: A fee of $10.00 will be charged to all vendors. Vendors may bring their own table(s) at no additional charge. Six-foot tables are available for rent at $5.00 each. Availability is limited so reserve tables early. Vendor set-up will begin at 7:30 AM.
Sales Hours: Swap Meet sales will be conducted from 8:00 to 11:00 AM
